mgr Bartosz Pyszkowski

doktorant w Kyoto University, Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP)

Following the work of Polchinski and Strassler arXiv:hep-th/0109174 and our recent studies arXiv:hep-th/2412.17784 and arXiv:hep-ph/2512.18274, I will discuss our research on high-energy pion scattering in holographic QCD. The first part of the seminar will be directed at a broader audience, where I will give a brief introduction to the class of holographic QCD models directly related to our research. In the second part, I will present the Polchinski-Strassler proposal and its application to the holographic QCD models of interest. In this context, we previously demonstrated in arXiv:hep-th/2412.17784 that our approach reproduces the constituent counting rule found in QCD, and now in arXiv: hep-ph/2512.18274 we find qualitative agreement between our predictions for the angular behaviour of π+π→π+π in the high-energy fixed-angle regime with experimental data. In this latter context, the main results will use the hard-wall holographic QCD model, however I will attempt to argue that, broadly speaking, the conclusions drawn from them extend beyond this simplified model.
