The academic year at the University of Bialystok is divided into two semesters: Winter start from the first days of October (with a two–week break for Christmas and New Year Holidays) and Summer one start in the end of February and lasts until the end of June (with a week break for Easter holidays).
Each semester ends with a two-week exam session. The Winter semester make-up exam session is scheduled in mid of February and the Summer one make-up session is moved to the two weeks of July.
